My work explores stress and anxiety in response to troubling events unfolding in the world around us. Each day’s news introduces new examples of harm and uncertainty, paired with a fragile hope that these events will not reach our own lives.
I repurpose cigar boxes and mixed media to construct fragmented architectural spaces that resemble homes, viewed from both interior and exterior perspectives. These sculptures capture suspended moments—instances when something unsettling is occurring or feels imminent but unresolved.
By disrupting the structure of domestic space, I reflect the vulnerability embedded in everyday life and the ongoing uncertainty surrounding how safe we truly are.discover the beauty of art that can transform your space and your life.
